"Mark provided a service far beyond what we were used to in our search for a co-op in Riverdale, NY. The most important difference between Mark and the other realtors we had contact with is this: He actually listened to and respected our wants—not only our price range, but the amenities and our special needs. There was no hidden agenda to get us to “strain” our budget, or hard sell about some unique opportunity which will never again appear and requires urgent action on our part.



We were planning to relocate to Riverdale and had to travel several hours to visit. So it was important that our time with Mark be maximized. Every property he showed us met our criteria, which were detailed and specific. He did not ask us to make the trek down to the Bronx until he had several promising properties to show and he had taken the time to preview them himself. He was therefore prepared to present them and to anticipate our questions. When there were issues that he couldn’t answer, he did not offer a flippant response to placate us. He went back and did the research and gave us an informed answer. Sometimes these answers did not predispose us to pursuing a particular property any further.



Mark also ushered us relatively painlessly through a rather demanding co-op board preparation. He presented our financials in an orderly and succinct manner and he anticipated all the various details of the board interview process. He segmented the approach so that we gathered required materials in timely fashion without ever leaving us overwhelmed. After the sale, he kept in contact, helping us to navigate the neighborhood for reliable sources for the capital improvements that we wanted to make. Clearly, Mark is several steps ahead of the average realtor and we highly recommend him.
